Summary:
A "Cancel" button is needed for broken genie link while updating pages.  

Solution:
A new button "Cancel" has been added to the dialog box on a linked object error while updating pages.  This button will cancel the operation on the current page and stop the updating process immediately, by throwing a cancel operation exception.  Moreover, pressing this Cancel button will open a "YES-NO" dialog box to confirm the cancellation.

YES : Cancel the operation.

NO : Open the dialog box on a linked object error while updating pages.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions to 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Service Pack A.
