Summary:
When you use an association without a type on a Super Genie (eg. ?1?) then DspInfo() will not be able to give any information for the passed in tag if that tag is a DIGITAL. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.XX to 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Service Pack A.
