Summary:
When starting Citect Explorer (V5.21) the following error messages were displayed:

ERROR

Memory error - try to free bad or unknown memory

CITECT

A severe error has occurred

Process will terminate

ERROR

Software Error

ERROR

FATAL Error - press OK to exit

MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY

Runtime Error!

Program C:\citect\bin\ctdraw32.exe

abnormal program termination

 

Solution:
Remove the parameter [debug] memory=1 from the citect.ini file
