Summary:
I am using Citect as OPC Server, but I only can see the digitals in my OPC Client.  For integers and reals I get a 'bad' value. 

Solution:
Make sure that you have defined the decimal separator in Windows as a "." (a period) and not as a "," (a comma).  You can adjust this via the Control Panel in the Regional settings.

If you use English/US version of Windows the default setting is a period for the decimal separator, so there you will not see the above mentioned problem.
