Summary:
When trying to connect to an existing IO Server, the IO Server crashes with the error message "Req size too big <n>". The IO Server is communicating to a Toshiba device using the TOSADMAP driver. 

Solution:
We modified the "Protdir.dbf" file on the client PC. Fields "Bit_Block" and "Max_Length" were both changed from 1024 to 64.
