Solution:
The Citect Mail functions use the MAPI interface to send and receive e-mail. This interface is supported by Lotus Notes, so Citect should be able to send and receive e-mail using Lotus Notes.

You can check whether a MAPI subsystem is in place on your computer by looking for the following entries in the WIN.INI file:

[Mail]

MAPI=1

MAPIX=1
