Summary:

I have established the fact that if a tag name containing one more more foreign characters, (in our case Scandinavian characters) and if the tag has to display an engineering unit, it will display the wrong format in the graphics builder.  This occurs with either the Ansi or OEM character set. However it displays the correct format in run time.

Solution:

CiT recommends that you do not use foreign characters.
