Summary:
Calling IODeviceControl() functions for remote I/O devices on a display client may cause a General Protection Fault in Citect. IODeviceControl() functions for remote I/O devices should only be callable from the I/O server on which the remote I/O device is defined. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.30.
