Summary:
Trend system can stop refreshing the display for several minutes if the span is changed from a long period (say 24 hours) to a short period (say 1 minute). 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.00 to 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.30.
