Summary:

CTAPI trend history query returns incorrect data. If no valid trend tags are specified in a trend history query CTAPI returns data for previous query. CTAPI should return no data under these circumstances.

Solution:

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.00 to 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Service Pack G.
