Summary:

If Citect is running on Windows 2000 and using the TCP/IP protocol and the network fails or is disconnected Citect may hang.

Solution:

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Spk G.
