Summary:
"Incompatible Server Version" alarm sometimes occurs when Trend Client and Server are on separate machines. This can then cause the connection between the client and the server to be dropped. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 5.31. This problem has been fixed in version 5.40.
