Summary:
If you compile a project (say the example project) from Project Editor, the successful compile sets run=c:\citect\user\example.

If you click on the run icon from the Citect Explorer and it recompiles the project, the entry becomes run=c:\citect\user\example\ with a "\" at the end of the string.

 

Solution:
Problem fixed by stripping the trailing slash before writing it to the ini file.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.30 to 5.31. This problem has been fixed in version 5.40.
