Summary:
Update pages does not remove all data in the field of the object linking to it's parent (Genie/Super Genie) gets set empty or blank. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.20 to 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.30.
