Summary:

Symbol fields automatically get removed upon reopening page. This problem occurs after the installation of v5.21 Service pack D.

Solution:

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.21 Service Pack D. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Service Pack E.
