Summary:
After setting up a device to log to multiple files, it will produce at most two files, and it will keep appending to one of them.

The device would create only one file and log everything to this one. Or it would create one and log for a period to this one then rollover to the next one, but then it would keep on logging everything to this file.

 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows since version 5.21 Service Pack A This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Service Pack F.
