Summary:
The DevPrev() function does not return an error code 294 when the start of an ASCII file is reached. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.00 to 5.21 Service Pack F. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Service Pack G.
