Summary:

The 'period' argument specified as part of the 'szTableName' argument for an event trend query using the CTAPI call ctFindFirst is now ignored.

Solution:

This behaviour is by design and consistent with the treatment of "Number of events per sample" in the Event Trend template. Refer to article Q3172 for related information.
