Summary:

Citect has a limit of 32 characters for the Tag Name, but the Tag Name field on the Variable Tags form can only display up to 21 characters.

Solution:

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions up to 5.31. Tag Name field on the Variable Tags form can display up to 32 characters in version 5.40 and later.
