Summary:

If the mouse is over an input control, using the cursor keys to move the cursor results in the cursor snapping back to the mouse.

Solution:

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.20 to 5.31. This problem has been fixed in version 5.40.
