Summary: |
The CTAPI uses hard coded symbol (.) for the separator of some decimal numbers rather than using the decimal separator in Windows Regional Numbers setting. |
Solution: |
The decimal separator in Windows Regional
Numbers set up has been used in CTAPI.
This fix would also affect some of the Citect output data which contains the decimal number string. To avoid this change to the Citect output data, a new parameter can be used to control it: [General] RegionalNumbersFormat Allowable values: 0, 1 Default value: 1 This new parameter has default value of 1 (TRUE) which uses the Windows Regional Numbers setting. CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.XX. This problem has been fixed in version 5.40 Service Pack A. |
