Summary:
In complex genie nesting situations, some genie substitutions may be replaced by empty strings. This can result in a user no longer being able to compile a project. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 5.40 Service Pack A. This problem has been fixed in version 5.40 Service Pack B.
