Summary:
I have installed the SXDIRECT driver to communicate with the VersaTrak RTU. It works with the COMX serial connection to the VersaTrak unit. However, trying the TCP comms kept returning unit offline errors. I have set up the unit with the correct station number and I can ping the unit from my Citect machine, but it still fails to connect. 

Solution:
The LocalStationNumber default for the SXDIRECT driver is 15999. This is too high for the VersaTrak RTU.

Try lowering this default number in the CITECT.INI file

LocalStationNum=100(Max=127)
