Summary:

When using Windows 2000. If the Primary Trend Server goes offline then the Secondary Trend Server takes over as expected but the Primary Trend Server must be shutdown before normal trending can occur. If the Primary Trend Server is not shutdown then the trend that appears contains no data after the time of loss of connection.

Solution:

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 5.31. This problem has been fixed in version 5.41.
