Summary:
The cicode editor will not function if run up stand alone with a citect.ini file in its local directory.

To reproduce:

-Put a valid functioning citect.ini file into the directory containing your ctcicode.exe. (bin directory of citect install)

-Try to run up the ctcicode.exe STAND ALONE. (i.e. start it from windows explorer by double clicking its icon)

 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Service Pack F.
