Summary:
ActiveX Events

The default eventclass for an object is the first 8 characters of its page name + _AN + the animation number. If you have two pages with matching first 8 characters in their filenames, there could be a problem with matching eventclasses.

 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 5.3.

The work around is to change the default eventclass for an object which appears to have a duplicate eventclass due to page names having identical first 8 characters.
