Summary:
If you previously used entries in Prev Page and Next Page that did not exactly match the corresponding page name, then system navigation may no longer work correctly. To rectify this situation set the INI parameter

[CTDRAW.Page]
UpdateNavigation=1

Then select "Update Pages" for the project, recompile and navigation should work fine.

 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 5.40. This problem has been fixed in version 5.41.
