Summary:
When millisecond trends are placed on the clipboard, the TIME field pasted into Excel does not contain an hour, AM/PM or full millisecond indication. 'Zooming in' on a trend page (with non-millisecond trends), such that the display sample time becomes less than one second, also results in the time field excluding hour and AM/PM indication. 

Solution:
To display millisecond timestamped data in Excel, the required cells must be reformatted to have a category of 'Custom' and a Type of 'h:mm:ss.000 AM/PM'.
