Summary:
Citect Help says that a maximum number of 16 characters is allowed for Group Names.

However, in both CitectSCADA Versions 5.40 SPK C and 5.41, when a Group name of 16 characters is defined and then inserted into the "viewable areas" section in the "System/User" form in the Citect project editor; a compile error would come up which says "group not found."

 

Solution:
The temporary work around is to use only 15 characters when using the group name in the "Viewable Area" section.

Citect Pty Ltd is researching the cause of this problem.
