Summary:
When a network cable is unplugged or networking is disabled, the CitectHMI/SCADA runtime may hang for 30 seconds or more if communicating via OPC client. 

Solution:
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions up to 5.40 and CitectHMI/SCADA version 5.41. This problem has been fixed in version 5.41 Service Pack A.
