Summary:
When using UserSetStr and UserUpdateRecord cicode functions, if the User's areas or privileges are modified then these changes are not reflected until CitectHMI/SCADA is restarted. 

Solution:
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA version 5.41. This problem has been fixed in version 5.41 Service Pack A.

This behaviour has been corrected however any User currently logged into the CitectHMI/SCADA system must relogin before any changes take effect.
