Summary:
I am trying to update a key using Citect's CiUSafe utility, but the error return code I am getting is not documented anywhere in the Online Help. 

Solution:
The Online Help does not document all CiUSafe error return codes. The following is a complete list of known key return codes that may be encountered after updating the key:
 
Error Code Result of Key Update
0 The key was updated successfully
1, 3, 4, 16 Either the KeyID or the Authorisation code you entered is invalid 
2 Either the KeyID or the Authorisation code you entered has been corrupted
7 Too many keys are attached to the parallel Port
9,  105,  109 No hardware key could be found 
102 Write failed (key may be defective or may be PC hardware/software problem)

If you encounter an "Error Initialising Key" message after reading the key, you may need to upgrade your Sentinel System Driver to v5.42 or higher.
