Summary:
If you use the following Alarm parameters in 5.40 and earlier;

[Alarm]
SummaryMode=3
SummaryTimeout=60 ! Default
SummaryLength=10000

In this case up to 10 000 events will remain in the list and the SummaryTimeout is of minor importance.

If you use the following parameter in 5.41;

[Alarm]
SummaryMode=3
SummaryTimeout=60 ! Default
SummaryLength=10000

The parameter SummaryTimeout signification has been changed and in this case the events only remains up to 60 min. But earlier it remained based on the SummaryLength.

To remain the same operation as in 5.40 and earlier. You have to set the SummaryTimeout=-1

 

Solution:
Alarm summary timeout enhancements in V5.41 are as follows;

The alarm summary timeout parameter is used to remove alarms from the alarm summary after a specified period of time. This parameter has a maximum setting of 20000 minutes. Periods longer than this are not supported

The Alarm Summary Timeout may now be disabled. With the SummaryTimeout parameter set to -1 alarms will not be removed from the Alarm Summary based on a timeout period. Alarms will still be removed when the Alarm Summary grows beyond the number of alarms specified in the [Alarm]SummaryLength parameter.
