Summary:

I am using the Citect DDEDRV to communicate to an Excel spreadsheet. The problem is that CitectSCADA reads the wrong values from Excel.

Solution:

The problem is that the driver does not recognize the A1 type notation to identify cells in the spreadsheet. Do not reference your cells using A1, B2 ... notation. Instead use the row and column notation: R1C1, R2C2 etc.
