To rectify the problem simply open up
EXCEL, then from excel open up the save_dbf.xls file located in the
[Citect]\Bin directory. This enables a macro for you to modify the
DBF file extensions used by CitectSCADA by creating a right-click
menu to save the file in the correct format. Once that is loaded
simply open up the PROTDIR.DBF file and make the following changes
in the ELPROTLC section. Then save the file.
