Summary:
I am running Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 2. In my project I have modified some of the multi-language text on my graphics pages by simply changing the case. For example:

@(multi-language text) changed to @(Multi-language Text)

To support case-sensitivity, I made sure I defined the [LANGUAGE]CaseSensitive=1 parameter in my citect.ini file. However, when running my project, the multi-language text that I had modified does NOT display at all. This used to work when running Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000 Service Pack 1. What is the problem?

Solution:
This is a known bug inherent in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 operating systems only, inhibiting the PGLANG.DBF and <LANGUAGE>.DBF (i.e. ENGLISH.DBF) language database files from getting updated. Removing and re-creating the PGLANG.NDX and <LANGUAGE>.NDX files and initiating a full compile have failed in resolving this issue. Citect v5.40 Service Pack A works around this bug in Microsoft Windows 2000.
