Summary:
In my project I have created two reports, both of which are using path substitutions defined in the Report Format File field. For example:

[RUN]:ShiftReport.rtf
[DATA]:TrendReport.dbf

When compiling the project, I encounter the following compiler error:

FATAL
File does not exist
C:\Citect\User\<MyProject>\Param.dbf

Also, when I wish to edit my report by clicking the Edit button in the Report form, Citect does not open the specified file. It is only when I delete one of these two reports that I am able to successfully compile my project. What is causing this compiler error?

Solution:
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA versions 5.21r0 through 5.42r0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available. As a temporary work-around, full paths can be defined in the Report Format Field in place of path substitutions, or you could just specify the name of the report file as Citect creates reports in your C:\Citect\User\<YourProject> directory by default.
