Summary:
If the description field in the Access/General tab is deleted on a base genie, it is not deleted in any nested genies. 

Solution:
When a nested genie is created, the value in the description field of the base genie is regarded as the ORIGINAL.

Any further updates to the description field in the base genie will be replicated in the nested genies.

However, if the base genie's description field is deleted, the nested genies' description fields will revert to the ORIGINAL value, even though it no longer exists.
