Summary:
How do I run CitectSCADA as a service under Windows 2000? 

Solution:
The set up procedure is the same as described in article Q1865. The only difference is that you have to have the Windows 2000 Resource Kit CD. By default, the resource kit will be installed at "C:\Program Files\Resource Kit" on the target machine. Remember to use the quote marks " " when you run the service installation command from the command line, as there are spaces in the path string.

"C:\Program Files\Resource Kit\Instsrv.exe" Citect "C:\Program Files\Resource Kit\Srvany.exe"
