Summary: |
I have set up PocketSCADA as per the
instructions in the documentation that I have received, yet I still
have errors occurring where I can not read tags from Citect, even
when I go to browse using Internet Explorer on the web server. I
try and work around this by registering the ctapi.dll using
regsvr32 in the command prompt where I receive an error message
"can not to load ctapi.dll - The specified module could not be
found".
I also can not see in Windows Task Manager / Processes the "inetinfo.exe" or "aspnet_wp.exe" running which are required for PocketSCADA on the web server. When I try to browse to the files I receive the error message of "This page can not be displayed" |
Solution: |
This is caused by missing Microsoft DLL
files. These files can be installed onto the Web server, simply by
installing a copy of Citect SCADA, where the DLL files are also
added on. Alternatively you may want to install the Microsoft
Runtime Library files, which can be downloaded from
www.microsoft.com as an other solution.
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect Pocket/SCADA version 2.0 We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available. |
