The Hitachi driver doesn't restore communications to Citect after a disruption brought about by cable disconnection, power failure and module reset.

 

Solution:
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in the Hitachi hardware mentioned. The problem is at the PLC end as it is not

releasing the IP port and thus refusing the new connection. An alternative is to use UDP instead of TCP for this hardware.
