Summary:

The Ping function within the ctutil.dll (V1.0.0.1, date:22/12/98, 174kB) when called from a periodic report was shown to cause a memory leak.

Solution:

If you are using this dll, try using the PLUSUtl.dll instead. The PLUSUtl.dll has better error checking and handling. This new dll is part of the CitectSCADA PLUS Utilities project and can be downloaded from the Citect website toolbox under Example Projects.
