How do I turn CTAPI logging on and off from the kernel? 

Solution:
In order to turn on logging for CTAPI from kernel, type the following:

ctapi 1

In order to turn off logging for CTAPI from the kernel, type the following:

ctapi 0

The information logged is written to your syslog.dat file.
