Summary:
When making a change to an alarm description via project editor, the runtime displays the original description if that alarm is active at last shutdown even if it has been cleared and re-triggered. The new description will not be displayed until the alarm is off and acknowledged and Citect is restarted. 

Solution:
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA version 5.XX to 6.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.

A temporary solution is to delete your almsave.dat file.
