Summary:
Citect will compile with an empty address field for an ABCLX device tag. However, once the ABCLX device starts up, a Citect GPF is generated and Citect runtime is terminated.
 

Solution:
The workaround for this issue is to ensure that a legitimate address is entered in the address for each and every tag in your Citect project.

Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA version 5.41to 6.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
