If the value of the parameter
[CTEDIT]MaxHelpRec is changed in the citect.ini file while the
Project Editor is running then the parameter will still be set to
its previous or default value after the citect.ini file is saved
and closed. The reason for changing this parameter's value is
usually because you have got a "list too big" warning when opening
a listbox in the Project Editor or Graphics Builder - see Knowledge
Base article Q3605.
To successfully change this parameter you must close the Project
Editor before editing the Citect.ini file. Alternatively, rather
than editing the parameter directly, just change the 'maximum list
box items' setting through the Project Editor's Tools|Options
dialog box.
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in CitectHMI/SCADA
version 5.XX to 6.00. We are researching this problem and will post
new information here as it becomes available.
