Summary:
Citect's ABCLX driver fails to come online if you have any of the following entries in your project.

• Leading zeroes in the IO device number. Eg “0001”
• Leading spaces in the IO device number. Eg “ 1”
• Leading zeroes in ports form ip address. Eg “192.168.001.221”
• Leading zeroes in the port number field. Eg “0023”
• Leading spaces in the port number field. Eg “ 23”

Solution:
These are known issues. To resolve this issue (i.e. to ensure that Citect is able to get its ABCLX devices online), you should check the following:

• Leading zeroes in the IO device number. Eg “0001” are replaced with "1"
• Leading spaces in the IO device number. Eg “ 1” are replaced with "1"
• Leading zeroes in ports form ip address. Eg “192.168.001.221” are replaced with "192.168.1.221"
• Leading zeroes in the port number field. Eg “0023” are replaced with "23"
• Leading spaces in the port number field. Eg “ 23” are replaced with "23"

Please note that this issue was reported as being fixed in ABCLX driver v3.2.0.0, however this change was required to be withdrawn due to other reasons.

If you require any further information, please refer to the ABCLX help file or contact Citect Support.
