Summary: |
Continual backfilling of missing trend
samples has the potential to cause excessively high CPU load. |
Solution: |
Citect has confirmed this to be a problem
in CitectHMI/SCADA versions 5.42 r0 to 5.50 Spk B. This problem has
been fixed in version 5.50 Spk C. It was therefore necessary to introduce a citect.ini parameter to disable the runtime backfilling of trend data: [Trend] DisableRuntimeBackfill=1 which defaults to 0. If set to 1 this parameter will stop the trend server from continually updating from the redundant trend server but will synchronise on trend server connection.. |
