Summary:

Citect's OPC driver 1.7.3.18 and onwards cannot connect to a Softing 4 Control v1.3 OPC Server.

Solution:

Citect has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect's OPC driver, versions 1.7.3.18 to 1.8.2.0. This problem has been fixed in version 1.09.00.000A1.
