Summary:

Supergenies with a LONG datatype association will generate hardware alarm: "cicode general value is out of range" if you try and write to the variable a value greater than 10,000,000.

Solution:

The workaround is to add the required scaling ranges, raw and engineering, to the variable tags. Or if this is too hard then you can set [CODE]ScaleCheck=0 in your citect.ini parameter.
